Tasks to perform
- Interpretation of technical drawings
- Mechanical and hydraulic assemblies
- Assembly of electro-hydraulic units
- Assembly of hydraulic cylinders
- Checking valves and components on the test bench
- Machine assembly and initial start-up
- Final testing and trials of the machine before shipment
- Commissioning at client’s premises
- Post-sales Service for incident resolution
- Repair of broken or malfunctioning machines at the site
- Getting parts ready for machine assembly
Training and requirements
- Prior experience in similar positions
- knowledge of hydraulics, theoretical and practical
- Valuable: machining skills on the lathe
- Valuable: basic welding skills
- Valuable: skill in electricity
- Valuable: knowledge of English or French.
